The whole Deljo team is good. Abdul, the first technician who came out to access the problem with my old equipment, was polite and professional, and explained all of the issues in terms that I could understand. He then turned me over to an advisor who was able to quote prices for repairs and replacement of equipment versus the purchase of a new system. The price for a new system made so much more sense for my situation. Deljo’s installation team, Carlos, Mike, & Nick, did a fabulous job. The team explained the work they were doing, removed all of the bits and pieces of the system that they were replacing, and cleaned up well after themselves. The guys crawled underneath my deck without complaint to install new copper tubing. I thought that the price for the entire new system was very fair based on my research. I couldn’t be happier with the work that they did.

We reached out with a relatively urgent issue in advance of some other work that is being done on our home. Deljo was able to squeeze us in on the same day, and they came prepared with the supplies to fix the issue in that single visit. There were a couple other important but less urgent issues noted, and they got in the very next day to handle those. Kyle was so helpful, knowledgeable, and communicative. Glad to have a reliable team to turn to for our ongoing plumbing needs!

Headline: Quoted Over $8,000, Spent $1,000 — Fixed It Myself with a $150 eBay Thermostat To be honest I don’t like leaving reviews when I had a bad experience, but they were so insistent on me leaving a review. Review: Everyone I dealt with was polite, but the experience was frustrating, expensive, and left me feeling a bit scammed. When one of my AC units failed, I was quoted $1,200 for a new motor and $2,400 for a thermostat — then told I should replace all the thermostats in my home, totaling over $8,000. As a temporary solution, I asked them to move a thermostat from a rarely used room, which got the system running again. Later, I bought the exact same model on eBay for $150 and called them back to install it. I ended up paying two different technicians to diagnose the same issue twice. One told me the eBay thermostat would only work temporarily, but when he returned the next day, it was still working perfectly. In the end, all I needed was a $150 part, a YouTube video, and a few minutes of setup. I still paid over $1,000 in service fees — and looking back, I feel scammed for being steered toward thousands in unnecessary upgrades. Rob ( Chicago) P.S. Be cautious. Ask questions. Great service and the installation process went great with no issues. The technicians were very nice, informative and they answered a lot of my questions. Deljo is the best in the business and I'll continue having my heater and AC service through them.

This was the most comprehensive and transparent home service call I’ve ever had. In addition, Deljo was the most economical option to replace my entire HVAC system? I will continue to recommend them to my neighbors and friends. I used Deljo for both plumbing and HVAC and Michael Croff, Greg Concepcion, and David Papillon were all professional, explained all the work they did ahead of time and after, and left no mess for me to clean!!!
