Called because water hose rusted on shut off valve to washing machine. This is my mother’s home and she got a new washing machine. I was at work and my 23-year old son was there when tech came. They charged me $664 for replacing one shut off valve. I called Heidi at the company to get an explanation why this cost so much. She went immediately on defensive mode and gave me little chance to talk. The invoice has no breakdown of charges like labor, parts, taxes- just “replace 1/2 “ hose Bibb ….$664.” Heidi would only say “It’s the cost of staying in business” never attempted to answer any breakdown of the cost. She then placed the focus on the customer that we agreed on the estimate. I told her YES my 23-year old son was there to write a check for my non English speaking mother. All I wanted was an explanation of how they calculated the work to come to $664. That cost more than the washer itself. She then asked me if the work was done? Such an irrelevant question. If the work was done it doesn’t mean you can overcharge. She then asked why I was shouting which I wasn’t. I even told her that I’m staying professional and as a customer should be entitled to the breakdown of the exorbitant charges. Never again use this company. I’ll be making an inquiry with the BBB.

I had an unfortunate experience with this company and will not use their services again. As the owner of a business/organization, it's best to reach out to your customers when they are unhappy with your services and not to blame them for it. Your technician quoted services on my invoice that I did not ask for. The original call was for a blocked piped which cost 1400 and that I paid for because it's the ONLY service I requested to have performed and after 7 days the clog still remains. I did not ask for a water heater, pressure valve, 6-to-10-year warranty or sump pump, these were added on items by your technician using deceptive practices in hopes of generating additional business due to the fact that I have an older home. However, I didn't ask for any of the additional items that were placed on my invoice (I'm assuming that's what you are referring to) when you say you can't do work for free. And as of today, I haven't received a call back from you or anyone from your company. I called to request the service to have the pipes unclogged, I paid for the service (1400) on January 17, 2024, and as of today January 27, 2024, my pipes are still clogged. It doesn't matter if you've been in business for 40 years or 4 years, how you respond to your customers when they are unsatisfied with the work that was PAID FOR speaks volumes. Diverting blame to the customer makes it easier for you to not take responsibility.

I gave Best Choice Plumbers 5 stars because they were able to help me within one day and even came to my house on a Saturday with no extra charge. Dean the technician was very personable and professional. He informed me of things about my disposal as he was installing a new one and even told me other things that were plumbing related. I was so happy to not have to take off from work to get this work done and there is no pressure to buy the best and biggest which I appreciated it. I will definitely call Best Choice Plumbers in the future. I also appreciated how personable and helpful Heidi was when I placed my call. I was blown away when she said the technician could come out on Saturday at no extra charge! Dean explained things to me as he went along and gave me options. I am very happy with the service he provided! He even vacuumed up after himself and wore slip overs on his shoes. Truly a class company and worth the money!

I'm very impressed with Best Choice Plumbers. I called and spoke with Heidi to schedule an estimate. she was very nice and even sent an email with a picture of who would be coming to the house (Gary), which included reviews from past customers. Gary showed up on time for the estimate and on the day of the work. Both Gary and his helper were very courteous and professional. I felt comfortable with them doing the work in my home while I was at work and my wife was home. My wife was impressed with how polite they were and how they explained the work they would be doing. When they were finished, they left the work area clean. When I got home from work, I looked at everything and was impressed with their work. I'm very particular and could tell they took their time to do things right. It's nice to find a contractor that takes pride in their work and that treats your home and you with respect. We'll definitely be using Best Choice Plumbers for our future plumbing needs. Thanks!

I was very surprised and impressed with the service today. I called Best Choice Plumbers today (12/31/18) expecting to get an appointment for after the new year. However, the woman I spoke with on the phone assured me that a technician would be available to come out today. I asked if they were licensed/bonded/insured and she provided me with all applicable information for my home insurance company. Justine, the tech came out and was very professional. He explained everything clearly so I (non-plumber) could understand what the issue was and the method to fix it. As a customer we usually don’t feel good about spending the money to get things fixed even if we know we need it. Today I felt good about spending my money to get the issue resolved. I called many companies today and Best Choice Plumbers made time for me. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.
