Just had a new unit and thermostat installed in my house and the team was great from front to finish. Isaac Harris, Jason Byrd, Adam Vasquez and Gabe were all extremely helpful, informative and did a wonderful job. Very happy with my experience overall .
As of August 9, there are still some issues that i am trying to hammer out with this company. Their work failed the building inspection so I had scheduled a four-hour window on Thursday for the work to be fixed. They never showed. Fast forward to today August 9, and it’s the same old issue where they did not contact me en route. The sooner I can pass my building inspection and not have to deal with this company anymore, the happier I will be. Honestly, I would have liked to have given a better rating, because the work itself is excellent. However, if I could, I would give them 2.5 stars, because the communication is absolutely dreadful. To start with, Justin the salesperson, who conducted the estimate, never told me that a drain line would be necessary or that the electrician would need to cut a big hole in my drywall above my fuse box. Insured UHF Perhaps I should have known these were necessary, but I didn’t, and he shouldn’t have assumed I did. And he was so thorough with everything else that I had assumed everything had been covered. He also did not order the line hide for covering up the copper pipes on my balcony, which he had said he’d order. On the day of the installation it was one miscommunication after another, and the whole job took roughly ten hours, which seems excessive. Also, the technicians did not notify me when they were en route to my condo, they just showed up. No text or call or anything. They said their office should have notified me and their office said they should have themselves. Fast forward to today— I get an email this morning stating they are coming to repair the drywall and install the line hide today between 8 and noon. I have work and I told them I work from Sunday through Thursday. I rescheduled the appointment with the office, but I still got a call from the technicians while i was in my commute to work that they were coming. Even after I had told the technician himself on Saturday (the day of the installation) that I could one do Fridays. This company does not communicate with its departments or with its customers. It caused me a lot of undue inconvenience. Had it been only one incident or even two, I would’ve given a better rating, because the a/c system works great. However, I can’t in good conscience recommend this company.
We had a new AC unit installed on Saturday by Dustin and his crew. By 10pm, they said they’d have to come back on Monday to install the thermostat. When they came back, they tried downgrading our promised Nest thermostat to a basic Honeywell. After talking to them for awhile, they decided to put the Nest in. They left and said everything was up and running and there were no problems. After 1-2 hours of running the ac, only warm air was coming out. We had to call to schedule another crew for the THIRD time to come look at it. This is where my 5 star review comes in… Thanks to Ulyses and Johan, they were able to see that valves weren’t open and there was a leak from the initial installation. These gentlemen went above and beyond to make sure our air conditioner was working properly BEFORE they left. They even worked in the rain and hail to make sure the job got done! Thank you Ulysses and Johan for your kindness, hard work, and dedication! You both are AMAZING!!
The gentleman that came out, Pierre Davis did an outstanding job. In some cases, I believe he help me by doing things like cleaning filters that I should have done. I appreciate everything he did. I feel he definitely went above and beyond what he actually had to do.
