Overall great experience. I got two estimates from other companies in 2015 when the boiler started showing signs that it has to be replaced. Of course I waited until my basement actually was flooded ;-). Terry from A-Value plumbing was the only one able to assist immediately. Terry was punctually, friendly and knowledgeable. The cost of the emergency service was well below the estimates I received earlier. Work performed: Remove a damaged hot water heater. Replace with a new hot water heater. Install a new shutoff valve. Changes in plumbing and venting. Service existing hot water boiler.

Sorry to say I was not happy with Terry - he seems like a nice guy and was responsive but after 3 visits he was not able to solve my problem and I had to call another contractor. I ended up paying a lot of money to Terry for his time with an unsuccessful outcome.

Can't say enough about how helpful A-Value has been. We own an older home and Terry is always punctual, honest and professional. Also really appreciate them always squeezing me in when I have a problem.

I have used A-value for many jobs, big and small. It's a small family company and I like them a lot. They are fast, affordable (that doesn't mean cheap!) and truly go above and beyond. I'm surprised they have so few reviews, they deserve more.
