Providing excellent customer service
I had an AMAZING turnaround on my experience with Ryan’s staff in rochester ny ! I had work done from a prior service and the end result messed up my toilet. I called Ryan’s plumbing and heating and was assigned Nick. Nick was patient, kind, informative, efficient and understanding. I called and spoke with Melissa to tell her about the positive experience and Melissa was so kind! I loved her energy! Please give them both a gift card or something for being a part of the reason this company is standing. Positive attitudes from staff goes a long way and they have it NATURALLY!
Their price for repairs is Outrageous! They glued a single one inch pvc end cap on my sprinkler system. $ 320.00 plus tax for a 10 minute project. Their technician was great, he deserved 5 stars In response to your reply, the complete sprinkler system inspection and documentation was an additional charge. None of that had any reflection on the $320.00 repair. FYI,no contract was involved.
Just had a technician come out and I had a terrible experience. Last night rg&e red tagged my boiler and hot water tank so I have 3 kids and had no access to heat during the cold temperatures and today the technician came out to diagnose and fix the problem he charged me 600 dollars and nothing was fixed. He originally told me i was looking at around 400 or 500 plus the diagnostic fee in total and at the end told me he fixed nothing pretty much only diagnosed what the problem was but ultimately told me he didnt know. Also never stopped after the diagnostic to tell me the price would run higher before any fixes were even made I'm was thinking this was all leasing to some kind of repair. I should've had everything fixed but instead everything is still red tagged zero of the multiple leaks in my fuel line were repaired and my boilers flame is still orange and I still have multiple leaks in my fuel line. He said the fuel lines were an easy fix but never even fixed it they still have tape on them from a "temporary fix rg&e did" before rhe red tagged it. I'm still confused as to why I have to pay 600 for a diagnostic. I will be disputing this with my bank and pursing any and all actions that I can. As a professional you should always make the owner aware of what is going on with the problem and allow them to know what is going on price wise instead of changing it up at the end when I was told it would be 400 or 500 to be fixed. 600 dollars later I'm literally in the same place I was before I called and everything is still red tagged no repair was made. He did open a screw which let out some dirt build up that goes from my boiler and vents out to my roof flue pipe then left all the dirt with stink bugs all on top of my boiler and didn't even clean it before he left. Honestly my boiler looks more dirty then before he came I know because I wiped it and took pictures before anyone came. -update response: I have not turned on any anything they are red tagged and rg&e told me it's a safety hazard to use it. I was never told that the price wouldn't lead to a repair but that it was leading towards repairs but nothing was done. If he couldn't repair it he should have just told me the diagnostic fee of what he could figure out in the first hour and if I wanted him to stick around and look deeper into the issue it would cost more. instead I was lead to believe the 400-500 was leading towards repairs needing to be made not for just a diagnostic? I also was told by him "home owner to home owner you can turn the boiler and hot water tank on as long as you keep your basement windows open" so it sounds to me, your technician tried putting my family in danger. You are telling me you are a reputable company that helps low income familes but I'm a middle class family and your charging me 600 for a diagnostic. I also find it insane that you can respond to a a Google review before responding to the phone call from this morning. You're more worried about your reviews than helping a customer who could've recommended you to more people. Instead you are showing that you have AWFUL customer service. You've obviously spoken to the technician. You're technician didn't even send an invoice. I expect a phone call before another response on here so we can speak about this issue. Right now, all I see, and all future customers will see, is you trying tear down a customer instead of fix this issue at hand.
