Zero stars if I could … Terrible Experience – I Would Never Use Roto-Rooter Again I hired Roto-Rooter to locate a line on my property. The first technician marked the line and charged me for using a camera—but he never ran a camera. Based on his markings, I hired a contractor to dig, and there was absolutely nothing there. I called them back, and the manager came out. He did use a camera, but couldn’t find a line. Then he started poking around with a stick, hit something, and suddenly claimed the line was there—even though we had already dug in that exact spot and found nothing. This experience felt like a total rip-off. I paid for work that wasn’t done properly and for incorrect information. I believe they took advantage of the situation, and the first technician seemed inexperienced and careless. I would not recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone. They wasted my time, cost me more money, and provided no real answers. Stay away. Thank God, I didn’t have him do the work because he quoted me at $2800 to dig and fix something that doesn’t exist in that spot! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CALL SOMEONE ELSE EXPERIENCED!!! UPDATE … Let’s be clear: the line you’re referring to was never even the issue I called about, so to say it was “correctly marked” doesn’t matter—it wasn’t the source of the problem. That alone shows how off-base your explanation is. Second, the area that was dug was exactly where your technician told us to dig. You can try to blame my contractor, but we followed your team’s direction. The fact that your manager had to come back, use a camera (which the first technician never did), and go over the area again just proves my point: your team was not accurate or professional the first time. You charged me for work that wasn’t done right, misled me about what tools were used, and now want to spin it as if this was all someone else’s mistake. My review was very honest, and I stand by it. Roto-Rooter is a rip-off, and I will not be changing my review to protect your reputation when you didn’t protect my time, money, or trust as a customer.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would. Roto-Rooter provides top notch service to their customers. This company never misses a beat, their service is superior. I am thankful there is companies like this one out there that is still trustworthy and gets the job done right. Thank you Roto-Rooter.

Great job by Telly! We had a line backup into our tub due to roots. Telly was here within an hour of our call (on a holiday weekend) and throughout the service he was polite and professional, and explained everything he was doing and seeing. He was also especially careful to “leave no trace” and make sure any area he worked in and walked through was clean before he left. Excellent service and would highly recommend you ask for him by name.

Josh and Skyler were excellent. Extremely professional, punctual, informative, and friendly. They went straight to work without hesitation, and gave us advice on how to not encounter this problem again. They even reduced the cost from the estimate as the work was simpler than anticipated, providing an ethical and financial value of honesty that you don't often see from service techs now a days. Ask for Josh or Skyler - you can thank me later.

I needed a plumber on a Sunday morning. Roto-Rooter was willing and able to send someone right away. My technician was Josh. He did an outstanding job and was quick, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. They’ve certainly earned my future business.
