Very knowledgeable. Great communication. He walked me through the problem in layman’s terms and gave me a fair estimate before starting work. Great dude. Great company. Work was superior to what I have become used to. I am so thankful I saw their truck on Badger Road and that they sent their best to fix my hot water heater. He could have charged me more to replace it but he charged me just to fix the part. Honesty is something I love about contractors and unfortunately it is hard to find. Thanks for the great work!

Stephen O. Is such an amazing plumber and person. He's very smart and has amazing people skills. I'm a property manager and a good deal of experience. That being said, Stephen can thoroughly and plainly explain all his work to the tenets who are less knowledgeable. I think that's such a great quality to have. Sidney in the office is an absolute pleasure to communicate through this large project. It's always a quality and genuine work provided by PP.

What a great company with amazing staff. I have lived in AK for over 20 years and this was my first experience with Prospector Plumbing and Heating and I was NOT disappointed. These folks are fast, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Nick provided me with a thorough walkthrough of the things I needed and took the time to show me how specific items worked in conjunction with one another. When it came time for the install, he fit me into his schedule and worked his tail off into the evening. After the work was completed he left the area clean and spotless. He truly set the bar for other companies to try and achieve. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen this level of dedication to the craft, professionalism, and attention to detail. You get what you pay for, and with Nick and the folks at Prospector Plumbing and Heating, I got everything I wanted/needed and more. Thank you for setting the standard for others to emulate!

We called Prospector Plumbing to have someone check a clog in our water softener system and they were able to send a technician out the following day to check it out. We also called Arctic Plumbing and they were not able to get someone out to even diagnose the issue until 4 weeks out. Our water was super hard and could not be put off for an entire month. I had been told that Prospector Plumbing was more expensive, but that they did an excellent job. I went ahead and scheduled with them. The dispatcher was courteous and called me to give me updated times of arrival. Nick was fantastic! Our water softener was completely broken. It took him only a few seconds to determine it needed to be replaced. After looking at our system in North Pole in the evening he rushed back to the Fairbanks office before closing to get everything needed to replace it on the spot. He replaced our entire system using good reliable material. Replaced our janky DIY pvc system with all copper piping. He was here until 10pm getting the job done while also teaching my husband how to do it and maintain it. He gave us a lot of advice on other areas of our home that we could take care of ourselves. He was kind and informative and honestly just good company. Very very knowledgeable and explained things to us very well. We will be using not only Prospector Plumbing in the future, but will request Nick to be our technician every time.

I contacted Prospector's after Lowes was installing my fridge caused damage to my water pipeline. Their team responded promptly, and within less than half an hour, Kevin was on-site to assist. Kevin was truly exemplary; he was able to complete the repair efficiently, and the entire process from the initial incident to resolution took less than four hours. Before starting any work, he clearly explained his plan and took the time to answer my questions. Kevin also never once talked down to me about what he was trying to explain to me. He was very informative and even took additional steps by creating protective blocks around the pipe to help prevent future issues. He was very courteous and professional, and I would gladly recommend their services to others. I would also feel confident in requesting Kevin's assistance for any future needs.
