I highly recommend Matt Rhodes at Polestar! I discovered Polestar at Costco, where they offered a one-time, low-cost inspection for my furnace and AC. It was well worth it. Matt arrived and was exceptional—professional, kind, honest, and informative. He thoroughly explained the cleaning process and what proper maintenance entails. While my unit was in decent shape, Matt uncovered a shocking amount of dirt, lint, and debris caked around the base of my outdoor AC unit. It seems the company I’d used for 13 years rarely or never removed the cover for proper cleaning. Without Matt’s diligence, my unit’s lifespan could have been significantly shortened. Impressed by his expertise and transparency, I immediately signed up with Polestar and canceled my previous service. Matt’s outstanding service made all the difference!

Our home was built in 1969, so the plumbing wasn't going to last forever. We woke up to water in the basement near the main drain. Polestar came out and cleared the drain and later used a camera to inspect the pipes. They showed us the results and gave us options. They gave us an estimate of the work to be done. They would need to cut into the concrete floor in a couple of sections. Two days ago Justin and Rowdy started the job and later joined by Dan C. They kept us informed of what was being done, especially when the water was turned off and on. They took great care to put plastic on the floor and around different areas of the basement to try to minimize the dust. I would trust Polestar again in the future.

Water heater went out this morning. Gerald from Polestar came out early and evaluated situation, gave me a firm estimate and scheduled new water heater install same day. Work completed by 2:30p.m. Pat was very efficient and thorough.

Josh from Polestar did an outstanding job servicing my air system. From start to finish, he was professional, thorough, and incredibly polite. What truly set him apart was his honesty and attention to detail—he didn’t just push for expensive repairs but instead offered thoughtful, more affordable alternatives where appropriate. After completing the service, he sent a detailed follow-up email outlining everything he worked on and flagged a few items for future attention. That kind of clear communication is rare appreciated. He also made sure to clean up after himself, leaving everything neat and tidy. I highly recommend Josh and Polestar for anyone looking for trustworthy, skilled, and courteous HVAC service. I’ll definitely be calling them again.

My technician Ryan was really the best. Very professional in the home. I called for a clogged sink that turned out to be my garbage disposal. Ryan went above and beyond to work on it, so I didn't have to pay for a new one. Which I really appreciated because of all the other work I'm getting done in my kitchen and dining room. Because of Ryan, Polestar has a customer as long as I live here.
