I was scheduled to have a water filtration system installed. At the end of the window in which my technician was supposed to arrive, I called as I had not heard from anyone, at which time I was told that my appointment wasn't happening as the technician was sent to another job. I asked why I hadn't been informed of this, and got no answer. My technician, Justin, was incredible - polite, helpful, didn't mind explaining things. Two weeks later, I woke up to salt water coming through my taps. I called Michael and Sons and was informed that the best the could do was send someone after hours. The technician came, read the instruction manual and could not figure out how to get into the system settings, so I read the instructions and did it. He changed a setting, and told me it would work from there. Two weeks later, more salt water. I called again, and was told they would only send an expert on water filtration. They then called back to reschedule for another day, and I said this was unacceptable given that I didn't have potable water, which the customer service representative agreed with. Then, I was called by a dispatcher who told me it was unreasonable to expect that they could send a water filtration expert on a Saturday, and they would be moving my appointment window to the afternoon so they could call someone in. I'll admit I was upset by this, and told the dispatcher that this was unacceptable - the company had told me they would send someone in that window, so why wasn't a water filtration expert called in at that time when I called hours before? Why was I being given the run around when they had caused the issue? The dispatcher was rude and aggressive with me, making comments about how I was speaking too loudly for her to help me, and berated me until I cried. The technician who came that evening blamed me that the GPS told him to park on the wrong street. He did not have any expertise in water filtration. He filled two water bottles from my tap and walked out of my home. He came back a half hour later and informed me that the system was faulty and would need to be replaced, and that someone from Michael and Sons would call me that night to schedule it. He didn't touch the system once. He turned off my system and left. I did not receive a call from Michael and Sons at all, and I called them that Monday. The day of the appointment, I was called by customer service to yet again reschedule the appointment for later in the day. I was not available later in the day, and was told that the technician had a personal emergency and would not be available until a later window. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and Scott got on the line, saying that my technician was on the way and would not be rescheduling. It was clear that the customer service representative had lied to me in order to move me later in the day. Scott was rude and argumentative, and told me I had no right to be upset. He muttered "Oh, Jesus", and called me irrational. He was rude to me until I cried, and defended his behavior, even stating "I don't care about your feelings". I stated that I wanted to speak to anyone else moving forward, but was unwilling to speak to Scott again. Justin, the technician, came, and was able to fix the filtration system in under 10 minutes. He acknowledged that Scott had been out of line, and I repeatedly said that I did not want to speak to Scott. Scott called me that afternoon to offer me a $250 refund and $250 credits with Michael and sons. When I attempted to discuss his behavior, he defended himself and got more rude with me. I do not think $250 refund for this treatment is adequate. I have not heard from the company since Scott told me that this was what he was offering, take it or leave it. I have not received the refund or credits.

TRASH of a company. DO NOT bother with them. They are completely useless and take advantage of you. Management SUCKS when trying to communicate your concerns and then THEY tell you to take your buisness elsewhere. WOW just WOW

So , I've had to rethink my original review. They did come out within three hours of an emergency call I made because I had a small flood in my basement due to a blockage in the out flow pipe from.the house to the municipal sewer line. The tech came out got the water moving but despite having tools available in his truck, he didn't actually clear the small ball of roots that we both could see not far into the pipe from where the cap.was in the back .patio . So, because he didn't clear it, the work was not warrantied instead they sent a tech out with a camera " free" of charge to scope the pipe. He found the same small cluster of roots very close to.the cap.and a clear line past the root ball Oh a a tiny, and I mean tiny, hair line crack less than an inch long in the PVC where it made a 45 degree bend at the cap. So, instead of clearing the blockage - which I did myself with a heavy duty wire which I bent to a hook at the end in like 2 minutes- they gave me an estimate for 8000 dollars to break the patio, excavate the pipe to clear the root. Ridiculous. And that didn't include repair to.the patio.wh8ch I would have to find someone else to do. Clearly I feel Like they were trying to take advantage of me. They have tools including a snake with a spinning blade and high pressure water source that they use specifically to take care of roots . They didn't even offer it The root ball.i fished out was maybe 5 inches long and three inches in diameter and totally soft and packed with " dirt". I'm glad they came out quickly , the tech was nice but for 1000 dollars , I'm not really happy with what they tried to do

Technician was new, which is great we all start somewhere. The job took 4hours to complete for an inspection & general maintenance on heat pump. This should not take 4 hours. The technician’s tablet died so he was using his phone. His phone died. I had to resign several times. I said you need to get a double ended cord to charge your tablet & phone at the same time in your truck. He mentioned coworkers use portable batteries. I said yes that is a smart idea. I hope he learns from this & makes sure he is prepared in the future with charging cords, box to plug cord into & portable batteries. I did not appreciate being asked to use my WiFi. The company should have a service that works everywhere. Overall the technician was good & said he was new. I appreciate new people because we were all new once at our job. I do hope he learns & had the proper items to keep his phone & tablet charged from here on out. He did the right thing by calling his manger when he needed help with items. I respect this.
