Indoor shower head broke immediately after installation, owner replaced and said it was likely over tightened. It failed again and was leaking a couple of months later and would not guarantee work. Spent $285 to install an outdoor shower head supplied by them in October, couple of months later it fell off and would not guarantee work again. Very disappointing, I have been a customer for years and will be looking for a new plumber unfortunately.

BE WARNED. The original Jay Stevens that had such good reviews and opened the company has sold it and run off and is no longer in control, which is exactly why you see so many bad reviews one after another. Under reviews check newest. One bad review after another in a row. THEY CAN NO LONGER BE TRUSTED. No matter what you hear, no matter who calls and says they are Jay, they are not. I would highly recommend Louie The Plumber. He is the number one rated company in Mount Pleasant and that is who I used. When he came out he said Jay and him are friends but he's not sure what happened.

They did a good job on installing my new water heater. I have a warranty issue on the water heater installed just 4 months ago. I have called 4 times now and they will not call me back to resolve the issue. Please be aware of this issue if you dealing with this company.

Company did not show up a week ago for service appointment related to a warranty item and never replied to multiple calls, emails, and texts. Company is apparently a Google Guaranteed company but my follow up with Google was totally useless. I could go on and on about a horrible initial experience with them as well (only tried to use them again because they installed the item we have issues with) but maybe they are not even in business any longer which might be a very good thing.

We used J Stephens plumbing for years and LOVED them, the best customer service & quality of work. However it looks like they changed ownership... they no showed to an appointment and did not return any of the 4 calls from their "answering service" or any of the voicemails. Such a shame..
