Revised down to 1 star: the repair from two weeks ago is no longer working. I texted and emailed yesterday to try and get an appointment for today for a care facility. No response. I called at 7:30 this AM and again emphasized this is a follow-up to a repair from two weeks ago. They've so far only responded w/ an appointment for Wednesday despite the extreme temperature warning AND that it's a follow-up to their previous work. [Regarding initial contact/repair 👇👇] I contacted them at 11 AM for a small care facility whose AC wasn't working. They said they could get someone out that afternoon. I asked if they could make it a high priority bc the residents all had poor health. Someone showed up at 1 PM. Great turnaround! He found the problem, gave me a quote, and we went ahead with the repair. It was a best case scenario and the functional AC was vital considering the almost 100° weather. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.
This company is extremely unprofessional. For context, my wife scheduled them to do an initial assessment for our water heater issues. She told them clearly she would only pay for an assessment IF they actually knew how to fix it instead of just replacing it. She even described the issue in detail since our property manager had already sent another technician to identify the problem earlier. The person on the phone assured us they had technicians who could handle older water heaters and wouldn’t say we needed a replacement. That’s the only reason we agreed to pay the $100+ assessment fee. When their technician came out, he didn’t even attempt to fix anything. He left us with a $5,000+ quote to replace the water heater and gave no explanation as to why it couldn’t be repaired. We disputed the charge with our bank because they failed to deliver what they promised. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, this company started sending threatening emails and calling us about sending the bill to collections. On the phone, they were rude and dismissive. My wife even offered to pay half the assessment fee as a compromise. They refused and demanded full payment. We ended up hiring another provider who FIXED THE PROBLEM WITHOUT A REPLACEMENT AND FOR LESS, and they didn’t even charge an assessment fee. Do not trust this company. Save yourself the frustration and find someone honest. We wish we had.
Nathan B. was friendly, professional, and had my new kitchen faucet installed in less than an hour. It would have taken me the better part of a day not to mention the contortions. Thanks Nathan! Also thanks to Shawn who came out Thursday to figure out the "tsunami" under the sink.
Our Repair man Shawn was awesome! Explained everything thoroughly and completed the repairs in a very timely fashion! He was extremely courteous and friendly!!
Not allowed to five Zero stars so I have to give one. David from D&F Plumbing came out last week to see what was wrong with our AC unit. I paid the diagnostic fee. I was told that the compressor was bad and has completely gone out, additionally our furnace was about to go out as well and would need to be replaced. Gave me an estimate of almost $16k for the whole unit and $8k for just the AC. Something didn't feel right so I called another company that I had used last year(thought I was calling them this time but accidentally called this one instead). They came out today. My compressor is just fine. just has a small leak, low on refrigerant and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the furnace. In fact, he said that it is one of the better furnace systems around! Total cost of $600! So if you have a technician by the name of David come to do an estimate, please get a 2nd opinion!!
