Big Sky Plumbing & Heating

My sewage ejector pump failed and they replaced it. I give them 5 stars for fixing the problem, 5 stars for making time for me quickly, and 5 stars for being clean in my house. I give them 1star for billing wasted time. Overall, they get 3 stars. Here is why they lost stars. I accurately told them on the phone that my ejector pump stopped working, and I expected them to come prepared to replace it. Their technician came to my house without a replacement. I got billed an extra hour because he needed to go back to the office to get a pump. The plumber worked very efficiently and skillfully during the time that he didn't waste driving around town.

The plumber Terry that came out to our house today was very good. He fixed the two water leaks and changed the valve in the toilet. Very satisfied. He was very friendly and hard worker.

Attempted to speak to Doug about a discrepancy in my bill as I did not believe I received the services charged. Doug immediately stated he would not be adjusting my bill and if I did not pay the full amount then I would be sent to collections. Doug then proceeded to hang up on me. Not only does this businessman lack customer service skills but basic phone etiquette seems to evade him. I watched the technician walk into the home and then leave - it is disappointing that home security cameras need to be installed and utilized to solve disputes.

I've hired Big Sky Plumbing and Heating twice, and will hire them again if I have plumbing needs in the future. When you call them for service they actually schedule an appointment for their next availability, whereas as other plumbers we have called or worked with in the past would only give us a vague idea of when they "might" come. Both times, the service technician was courteous and professional, and answered my questions as they completed the work. I had some additional follow up questions after the work was completed, and they were very responsive. Very evident they care about providing good service and stand by their work.

I had an emergency plumbing need this past weekend and called out another plumber who failed to fix the problem and charge me twice as much. Big sky came out on Monday was very professional, fixed the problem and even owned up to a little mistake. I was very satisfied with Justin’s professionalism and attitude in getting the work done right. I won’t go with anyone else from now on. Thanks Big Sky.
