Jonny came out to take a look at a sewer pipe that was having intermittent backup issues. Jonny was recommended to me by a real estate friend who had used them several times for various inspections and repairs for home sales. I previously had another highly reviewed drain company come out and tell me that my pipe had various belly's causing the backup and that having them do a hydro jet would help but potentially I needed to replace the pipe. The other company did not have the license to perform the work (thank goodness) and that's why I reached out to root-o-matic, and also had two other companies coming for quotes on potentially replacing the pipes. Jonny came out with a noticably higher end camera setup than the previous company and was able to determine in minutes that the issue was in fact just a root intrusion. He also confirmed the slope/pitch of the sewer was fine and didn't have any belly's that were causing issues. I recieved a super high quality video from Jonny that was fully commentated with the root issue and condition of the line. The video I recieved from the previous company was literally a cell phone video taken of the lower quality video screen they were using on thier equipment. We scheduled an appointment for his team (Darrin and JJ) to came out with their rooter and extracted the root resolving the problem. Jonny did give me estimates if I wanted to do partial or full pipe replacement but suggested that there was no reason to and to just maintain the root issue in the pipe until another major issue occurs (which could be decades from now). Full replacement would have been north of 5 figures from any plumber in town. Jonny easily could have went with the other companies findings and I would be massively in debt. I can't recommend them enough for this type of inspection and service. I imagine all their work is performed with this kind of integrity.

Everything from start to finish with this company was professional! Johnny did the estimate and explained the job and timeline and introduced the person who would be doing the job, Nathan. Every person I encountered was kind and professional making me feel comfortable and confident in the repair. We had a large pipe in our yard burst and they worked quickly to fix it and communicated everything along the way. So happy to have found an excellent, reliable and trustworthy plumbing company! Will never use anyone else, you won’t regret using this company.

Jonny and his team are great to work with. Honesty, integrity, and craftmanship are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Root-O-Matic. I was happy to have the team come out to locate and inspect a septic system on a house I was considering to purchase. Knowing there was a time crunch for our inspections, they squeezed us in. We couldn't be happier with services and prices. If you are located in reno, Sparks, or the surrounding areas give these guys a call!!! I know I will be next time I need a great plumber.

Root-O-Matic did a great job at our place, Johnny specifically. They thought outside the box and worked within our budget to fix our septic without just saying to get a whole new system, like two other companies did. Would highly recommend them.
