I recently had a plumber from Morata Pluming replace both the toilet flange and wax ring in Miami, and I was shocked to be charged $545 for the job. After researching local rates, I discovered that typical toilet repairs—including both flange and wax ring replacement—usually cost $167–$297 in Miami. Even more complex jobs rarely exceed $350. • The work performed was a standard replacement—nothing out of the ordinary. • The invoice included no itemized breakdown to justify such a high bill. This is more than double the standard rate for this service in my area! What a rip off. I’m very disappointed and would not recommend this company to others looking for fair pricing on basic toilet repairs. When questioning the price the answer was that’s what they charge. Miami residents: be sure to compare quotes—don’t overpay like I did!
