I live in Hawaii, and my mom who lives in San Francisco called me in a panic because her hot water suddenly stopped working. I reached out to Discount Plumbing, and they immediately sent Kevin to her home. He arrived promptly, assessed the issue with her water heater, and called me to clearly explain the possible solutions. Kevin kept me updated every step of the way, even sending me photos of the old unit so I could understand what was going on from across the ocean. Once I decided to move forward with a full replacement, he skillfully handled everything, picked up the new water heater, installed it quickly, and followed up with photos of the completed work. (I’ve posted the before and after photos) Before leaving, he left my mom his business card in case she needed anything else, which gave both of us peace of mind. The payment process was also seamless, they emailed me the invoice so I could take care of it directly, which was great because I didn’t want my mom to have to deal with any of it. Carlos did a quick and skillful job evaluating and installing my disposal and toilet repairs in one day. I booked by phone, and the representative Carol was very kind and helpful. The process they use is very convenient- they email you a picture of your plumber so you know who is coming. Cost was reasonable for SF and since he went shopping for me. Seems they are #1 for a good reason!

Ricardo was a pleasure to work with. He went to great lengths to explore potential sources of the extreme jackhammer like vibrations coming from our pipes and successfully diagnosed a lack of tie downs in our crawl space for a length of pipe that was installed during a bathroom remodel. He was friendly, generously explained everything in an understandable way, and offered remedies to correct the issue.
