Clog Busters Drain Cleaning & Repair

As a local realtor in the Des Moines area, I can’t recommend Clog Busters enough! I’ve referred them to multiple clients and also use them for my own rental properties, and they always deliver. Their team is prompt, professional, and gets the job done right the first time. They’ve saved us significant money compared to hiring a plumber, and the level of service is outstanding. We recently had a water softener installed, and unfortunately, there was an unexpected water leak during the initial installation. Tyler quickly came to the rescue, showing exceptional professionalism and responsiveness. He carefully diagnosed and resolved the problem in no time, ensuring minimal inconvenience to us. Also, Tyler went above and beyond by returning promptly the next day to make a minor adjustment. We were impressed by his attention to detail, communication, and overall reliability. This was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tyler and his services to anyone in need of plumbing or water treatment solutions. Five-star service all around!

Dylon did an AWESOME job with my plumbing issue. He was respectful, intelligent, and knew exactly what needed to be done!!! Saying I was impressed is an understatement!! He presented options to fix the problem PRIOR to fixing it which I really appreciated. No suprise billing that I couldn't afford. Then after fixing the problem we discovered I would need a more permanent solution. I figured it was going to over 10k easily 😒. To my suprise he was able to submit my photos and the work that would need done and presented me with an estimate. He also told me that today's payment would go towards my final bill of the permanent project that needed to be done. Yippppeeeee!! SUPER IMPRESSED with this company and with Dylon!! I will 100% be calling them again, and ill have permanently fix my issue. I'll attach a picture of where I live because no one wants to see backed up 💩😆.

I want to begin by saying our techs were very kind and thoughtful! They were easy to talk to and tried their absolute best. I would say unfortunately there has been a lack of training somewhere within the company. We were charged $749 for what was supposed to be a simple clogged drain repair in the kitchen. After 2.5 hours, they admitted they were on a time crunch and had to leave for the next job—without even fixing the problem. They weren’t sure what else to do. When that became the situation, their service manager wanted to speak to me. She told me that “my time was up” and additional charges would start for additional work that was done. She said for every additional hour it would be $450 plus $180 for the first man and $100 for a second. I explained to her that the problem that I was told would get fixed for $749 was not fixed but evidentially that was my issue. She told me they can keep working and hope to get to the issue or they can just put everything back together and leave it. That sounded promising… yikes. Not to mention, we have used smith sewer and they repaired the clogged drain for $300 and it was done in an hour. They started in the basement as that is where the clog is residing. My husband, who was out of town, got on the phone with them and asked if they had checked the basement and tried snaking it from there. They had not. That suggestion is ultimately what solved the problem—my husband fixed it over the phone. All of a sudden the service manager was like well have them go check the basement and then call me back. I am not sure why the basement wasn’t a place they spent more time on. For the price we were charged, I expected a resolved issue, not to be left with the same problem and then have to guide them to the solution ourselves. Extremely disappointed and as I stated above, I am not putting blame on the service techs. They felt terrible and again, I believe this would be due to a lack of training.

Cory is the man! First of all. Great dude. Super friendly got straight to work. I called at 430 and he came at 630 and stayed till 10! He busted his butt and I was with him the whole time if he needed anything. If we ever have to have anyone here again I'm calling Cory back!
