BEST Air Conditioning Plumbing Repair

Best installed an evaporator cooler for my A/C. Labor was $1,500. Took two men, 4 1/2 hours. Had to remove framing around attic access. Scheduled an appointment for them to come out today for company to come back out and put back the framing. Appointment was 4-8 pm. At 8:05 PM I called and spoke with someone who called the manager and he explained to his rep that they won't get through with their current job until sometime around 9:00 PM. My wife and I went to bed because we had to get up at 4:30 am for work. Received a call from their tech, Julio, at around 9pm stating that he was on his way. I told Julio not to come because we were already in bed. Needless to say, I'm not happy. This was my wife's and my wedding anniversary. We're very disappointed. Worth noting,right after they did their diagnosis, their company ambassador Jeremy asked me to leave his company a review, on his phone, when they hadn't even done the work yet? Since then, I've received numerous requests to leave them a review, and they haven't even finished the job! Update: A few things have happened since I wrote my last review for Best several weeks ago when I left a well deserved one star rating. As previously noted, the company Best scheduled me a follow-up visit after installing my evaporator cooler to reinstall the framing around the attic entrance. It was a 4-8:00 pm follow-up visit. At 8:05 pm, I called them and asked that they not show up because I had to go to bed. I got a call at 9 pm from Best, in a deep sleep, stating they were on their way. I told the service tech not to come, that I was asleep. Sever weeks later, I decided to reattach the framing myself. When I couldn't find a missing piece of trim, I began fishing for it in the attic insulation. The trim was hiding under the insulation. I also found the support beam that is used to hold up the evaporator coil. It was hiding under the insulation. I called Best and they scheduled to have someone come out and reinstall the support beam. At the conclusion of their visit, I asked if they would send someone out to add some blow-in insulation in the places that had been disturbed during the initial install. They came out today. Their technician Luis did a great job. His sidekick (who I don't remember his name) did a great job setting up and cleaning up. While I do recommend this company, now, I'm writing this review as a help to you. If you hire Best, for anything, make sure you watch them closely. It was human nature for them to not to put back the very crucial support beam back, which would have been a serious concern if I hadn't caught it. They also had the cap to my vent pipe installed on the wrong pipe. Again, this also would have been a serious issue if I hadn't caught it. This company charges a premium price for their work. You're just going to have to watch them like a hawk. The silver lining in all of this is that at least they will come back and make any necessary corrections that one might discover after the fact. Good job, Luis! You did a great job making it right on behalf of your company! Update: would you believe it? Best had to come to my house for a 5th time for the same issue. The evaporator they installed only worked with master bedroom thermostat! It was turned off at the thermostat, but came on when master-bedroom thermostat was on. Jeremy said the damper wire was bad and he had is replaced for no charge.

Best really is great. Needed a complete repipe and sewer replacement. They made it as least painful as possible. Patrick their repipe specialists was amazing. He was awesome thru out the process. He went above and beyond and helped with everything I needed. They're fortunate to have tech like him. Over all it went very well for such a nightmare to have to go through. Would recommend them to everyone.

Jeremy was an an amazing Technician. Made me feel better about my purchase of going with best air-conditioning plumbing repair. I highly recommend him to anybody. He will take very good care of you and make sure that you’re a happy customer with a good product. I unfortunately used another company after best for a different air-conditioning unit and they are awful so I’m very happy to be going back to best where I feel like they are giving me a great product and a really good warranty for labor and parts.

Best Plumbing did not do any work orders for me. Why? Because they gave me this astronomical price to replace my water heater, starting off with a ballpark figure of around $13K. However, after several "hustle" attempts and deep discounts, wasting my time and theirs, they finally came up with a "drop dead" price of $7,200, even though I had the same job completed for $2,600, 7 years before. Kerry and his partner informed me that Plumbing prices have gone up a great deal in the past 7 years, basically making any other offer impossible to gauge. I priced the type of water heater I needed online and the prices varied from $2,100 to $2,500. So, that means its going to cost nearly $5K in labor charges? Last I checked, union plumbers are paid roughly $185/hour. In turn, I needed a water flow sensor, which they included in the estimate. Big deal. That part goes for $150-$250 online. The bottom line is they tried to pressure me into a contract of $7,200 "out the door." No thanks. I hired WATER HEATER PROS (also known as ROYAL PLUMBING) to do the same exact job with the same exact type of water heater and water flow sensor for a total cost of $3,200. $4,000 cheaper than BEST PLUMBING. As a result of dealing with costs only, I do not recommend BEST PLUMBING to anyone who wants to save money and does not like being hustled, although I'm sure that BEST PLUMBING does do a professional job like WATER HEATER PROS does. In addition, the plumber that completed the installation of both items, completed it in approximately 3 hours, working all by himself. That really impressed me the most with WATER HEATER PROS, extremely fast and very professional.

I’m extremely happy with Best. Chad was fabulous! He was so helpful, honest and patient with me as I got quotes from other companies trying to make a decision on a new AC unit. I truly appreciated all the knowledge he shared without pressuring me into a sale. It was as if I were talking to a friend and not a technician or salesman. He is the reason I chose to go with Best. The very next morning, Baylen and his crew arrived to do the install. They were equally as professional and considerate. They worked hard all day until then job was completed and they cleaned their work area before they left. I could not be happier or more impressed. I highly recommend them to anyone.
